Sorry, I know I said I'd be around since it's the midterm break but things are seriously crazy, I am feeling incredibly overwhelmed by the amount of work I have to do over the next few weeks. I have supergood news though which is that

Airline tickets are really cheap lately because of the economic downturn, so a round trip ticket to Tokyo on Singapore Airlines costs only about S$816! The usual price is a few thousand at least, so it's an awesome deal asdfhjkl; OMG SO EXCITEDDDDD YAMAPI LAND HERE I COME.

1. Windsurfing is fun! It's really hard to keep your balance at the start, but once you get the hang of it it isn't so bad! I have bruises all over though from the zillion times I fell of the board, as well as numerous cuts and other injuries. IT WAS WORTH IT, THOUGH!

2. This is hilarious! The person who made that video seriously WINS AT LIFE.

3. Liar Game is brilliant. It stars Toda Erika (oh look, I've finally stopped calling her Misa) and that tea guy from Hana Yori Dango!! He is really hot in this show though, not in a good-looking way but more of a he-is-so-smart way! Intelligent guys are really, really attractive. But I still love Jin. It can get a little draggy at parts, particularly when Nao gets tricked by someone for the zillionth time in a row. Seriously, how can anyone be that naive? Still, it's an awesome drama altogether. I LOVE SHOWS LIKE THIS. Oh, and tea guy is another of those normal person turned con artists who swindle people for REVENGE after their families died in tragic circumstances that they flashback to repeatedly throughout the show. Sound familiar? XD

4. My mom went to Hawaii today for work stuff, and she is going to be in transit in Japan for four hours! OMG, EVEN MY MOM IS GOING TO JAPAN. I compiled an awesome list of magazines and things for her to buy for me! It even includes pictures of the magazine covers so that there's no way she can get it wrong. (knowing my mother, this is VERY VERY POSSIBLE) I asked her to also get any magazines with Yamapi or Jin on the cover, I'm kind of curious to know what I'm going to end up with!

HELLO EVERYONE, I'M BACK!

London was awesome, though I was not expecting summer to be this cold. Still, it was a nice change, especially now that I'm melting back in Singapore now. Paris and Edinburgh were gorgeous too, I will write a proper entry once my dad returns with the camera at the end of the month. I'm afraid comments and things will be slow in coming for now, so. How have you guys been? :D

Also: EURO CUP who is watching this?? Due to my unfortunate (or is it fortunate?) absence from the Internetz I haven't been able to write long entries after all the matches full of things like WTF IS UP WITH GERMANY PORTUGAL IS GOING TO RIP THEM TO SHREDS and also YAY FOR CESC'S FIRST INTERNATIONAL GOAL. Uh. Lol. I'm not used to typing anymore, my mouse feels weird in my hand and the laptop screen is unnaturally bright. Oh well, lots of time to familiarise myself again I suppose! :D:D

Today I saw this car with license plate number "SM69", and spent the rest of the train ride debating whether it was deliberate or just a hilarious coincidence. I'm hoping it's a coincidence, because how great would that be? The poor owner would probably be all confused as to why people laugh whenever he/she drives somewhere!

Okay, you know the German Naruto dub? The one that (badly) edited out every single incidence of weapons, bloodshed and even the kanji from Jiraiya's bottle of beer? Well, Mello and I were discussing what'd happen if they ever decided to make a Death Note dub, and what followed was the very PG Journey to the Next Great Adventure Note. In it, Raito picks up the Journey to the Next Great Adventure Note off the ground because littering is bad and he just wants to do his part for the community. Of course, he didn't actually see it fall from the sky or anything, after all he's a model student who always pays attention in class! So he then decides to reward people with journeys to the next great adventure, and also criminals because he feels sorry for them having to live out the rest of their lives in jail. L promotes good eating habits by being frequently shown enjoying salads, and Near and Mello are BFFs who work together and care for each other. Misa's a human rights activist who loves animals and the environment and being at one with nature, so naturally she sympathizes with Raito's extremely noble cause. Oh, and the Shinigami are ANGELS OF GOODWILL who help Raito and Misa spread their message of forgiveness and kindness to your fellow humans.

In fact, we could probably do an even better job on the Naruto dub. I mean, why make them ninjas? Ninjas kill people! Instead, they can all be FARMERS. Naruto's goal in life is to be the top farmer in Konoha, but he faces many obstacles in the form of Sasuke, the last descendant of the famous Uchiha farming clan (whose clan symbol is a shovel) and Neji, who is considered by many to be a PRODIGY FARMER. Would you watch this? We would.

fashion designer!itachi and taking-over-the-world-with-glitter: These go together because they're more or less about the same thing, it started with this dream ant_power had of Itachi as a fashion designer and snowballed from there. Because Itachi would be a fantastic fashion consultant, he already has all the necessary skillz! He could genjutsu a whole virtual fitting room for people to see what they'd look like in clothes without having to try them on! The whole killing the Uchiha clan to 'test his capability' thing? Bullshit. He killed them because they weren't pretty enough. (that's why Sasuke got to live). I can't remember how the glitter thing started except that we established he likes it. And so does Orochimaru.

gmail - inbox (1): I keep a Gmail window open ALL THE TIME so that everytime I get an email I'll know straightaway! As a result I usually only get emails one at a time, unless I'm not home or something like that. And because I am kind of a sad no-life loser seeing that I've gotten an email (which is usually a comment) makes me incredibly happy.

lu-lu-lu lukas podolski: HAHA. Lukas Podolski is a German striker, he's on the national squad. So during the World Cup there were all these random crackified songs being composed about the German team, and this was one of them! aspettame used to sing it in class every day, lol.

sasuke's voice: Um, it's sexy. Although his voice is entirely at fault for all my paedophilic tendencies because damn, HE DOES NOT SOUND LIKE A TWELVE-YEAR-OLD AT ALL!

sasuke the cupcake: Again, from a conversation with ant_power (all my weirdest interests are because of you, I swear). I went back to check the entry this cupcake thing originated from, and it's because we were talking about how Orochimaru totally tempted Sasuke to the dark side with cupcakes, and that Sasuke kind of reminds us of a cupcake (because I'd want to lick icing off both of them. Yeah, great comparison, I know). Sooo... yeah. Sasuke is now a cupcake. We made all the other Naruto characters desserts, too! So they wouldn't feel left out or anything.

sauntering vaguely downwards: It's from Good Omens, which is one of my favourite books ever. One of the characters, Crowley, was described as "an Angel who did not so much Fall as Saunter Vaguely Downwards".

It's conditional though, depending on my grades. I need at least AAAC. BUT OMG THAT WAS THE SCHOOL I WANTED MOST. It sucks total crap that the fees are so crazy expensive and there are no scholarships for medicine, as it is it's not impossible for me to go but it would probably be a lot easier on my parents if I didn't. Help me pray that I'll win the lottery! :D

...what a fucking nightmare. It is actually physically painful to watch, though that may be due to my kicking the table repeatedly in frustration. Dear team, I know you're setting your sights on the Champions League match next week and hence don't give a damn about the FA Cup, but it's Manchester freaking United! Can't you at least fight for your pride, if nothing else?

This is a direct result of my extreme boredom. My favorite characters are always taken in most of the blogcrews I've come across, so I thought I'd make my own! And besides, I've never seen a Battle Royale one before. :D 

His hair looks way better here than it does in Hana Yori Dango. Which I still haven't finished watching, and then I want to watch Gokusen too! It's got him AND Oguri Shun. :D GRRR when I was trying to pause Veoh to take a subtitle-less screencap, I accidentally clicked the 'next video' button instead so now I have to reload the entire episode over again! JUST WHEN HE UNRAVELED THE MYSTERY, DAMN IT.

Okay, back to watching. I'll screencap the ending credits later! You know how the credits of most dramas feature lots of scenes from the show? Well, this one is just full of Jun posing. Not that I mind, though. :D There's one shot of him with an apple that looks exactly like something out of Death Note!
